We have discovered a fun thing to do, and that is geocaching. It is like a treasure hunt, and we couldn't believe how popular it was. We found our first one by accident. Then we were at Carter's Beach this summer and a couple from Texas was there and they were geocaching. And they explained what it was! They had a gps and found one at Carters Beach while we were there. Today we found one because it is 10-10-10 and they wanted to set a record.

We had to find a geo on 10-10-10, so we took our grandson and off we went. Gps in hand. |

With a geo, you can take something if you leave something. So I took this angel only because I have had the exact same angel twice and it just went missing both times, then I come across another one! So we left another key chain, but I just know something will happen to this one also. |

Our grandson taking our picture after we found the geo. which took a little while. |

We were late for Thanksgiving dinner for this! |

Now this Geo was at the White Rock Canal. We have looked a few times without the gps, but with no luck. So we brought hubby along and found it! I was totally off and in the opposite direction then them! |

These are our grandsons, and they were so happy. |

In Nova Scotia the humidity is really bad in July and this was the hottest day of the year! |
|
Yah it was was around that tree, and it was on a bank and hard to find. |

This one was on our walk to Cape Split. We were just talking about this when my husband had a feeling to look in this stump and low and behold there was a geo! Just a stroke of luck and without a gps to guide us. |

Now this one was at Lumston Dam. Our local beach, so it was hard to go there without other people. But we managed to go when the beach was empty and after a little searching, we found it! |
