Peggys Cove

Our little road trip to Peggy Cove. Anyone who lives in Nova Scotia knows of this place and many visitors come here every year just to visit. It is a beautiful must see place.  It is a small community located on the Eastern Shore of St. Margarets Bay. In the Nova Scotia Halifax Regional Municipality, which is famous for the Peggys Point lighthouse Est. 1868.  The story is that a little girl survived a ship wreck and was adopted and raised there and which the Cove was later named Peggys Cove :)

It is such a magical place to visit.

Probably one of the most famous lighthouses in Nova Scotia.

Sitting on all rocks.

Overlooking the St. Margarets Bay.

You don't get to close to the water, people have been know to get taken away by sudden waves.

They have to have security there in storms, people love to storm watch the waves, but it is too dangerous.
