I Like To Bake

 
                                                                 Blueberry Buckle

Batter:                                                                         Topping:
1/4 cup butter
1 cup flour                                                                   1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar                                                               1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder                                                 1/3 cup flour
1 egg                                                                           1 tsp cinnamon, or, to taste
pinch of salt
1/2 cup milk
2 cups blueberries

Preheat oven to 400 F.  Combine batter ingredients.  Pour into greased 8"x8" baking pan.  Cover with berries.  Combine topping ingredients and mix until mixture resembles coarse meal.  Sprinkle over blueberries and bake for 45 minutes.  Cool, slightly, cut in squares, and serve warm with vanilla ice cream or or whipped cream.  Serves 9.  May be frozen.
